Two Attempts

Remember when Jesus heals the blind man but it takes two attempts? For some strange reason, that is blessing me big time. Even Jesus needed two attempts. I find tremendous encouragement in that. And I think there are a few lessons to be learned.

I think many of us give up after our first attempt so we forfeit the miracle. Keep praying for the miracle. Give God a chance! I also think some of us are satisfied with a partial miracle. Don’t settle for half a miracle. Keep believing God for the whole thing! Finally, some miracles happen in stages. It doesn’t happen all the way right away.

Mark 8:25 says: “Then Jesus laid hands on his eyes again.” The operative word is “again.” Is there something you need to pray for again?

The Matter Of Integrity

“I define integrity as being true to your principles”

Integrity is allowing that part of your conscience which tells you the right way to do things, to determine your actions…

Integrity means wholeness of character, an uncompromising adherence to a code of values, and consistency of word and deed based squarely on the word of God… Integrity presents a life of consistency and sincerity, with no deception or pretense… Integrity’s overriding quality is wholeness: There is no discrepancy between what people of integrity appear to be in public, and what they are in private. Integrity means we live according to what we say we believe, according to the Scriptures. People with integrity have nothing to hide and nothing to fear. Their lives are an open book. Integrity is not reputation (what others think of us) or success (what one has accomplished). Nor is integrity something we have, IT IS SOMETHING WE ARE THAT INEVITABLY SHOWS ITSELF IN WHAT WE DO….

The old adage is true: OUR WALK MUST MATCH OUR TALK!

The Dogs, The Masters, And The Holy Spirit

Today as I was at a customers house doing pest control, I was walking around the house and seen a man walking a dog. What stood out to me was that it was a smaller man that was walking a very large dog. Another thing I noticed was that the dog was very obedient and trained, every time the man would stop or turn the dog would stay right by his side. The man and the dog went on down the sidewalk and I went on about my work and went to my next costumer’s house. Well as I was walking around this house I noticed a woman walking a smaller dog, but it was more like the dog was walking the woman. The dog was pulling the woman along, and the woman was really struggling trying to get control of the dog. That’s when the holy spirit spoke to my heart and said, Corey you are like that Dog. I’m always by your side trying to direct your path, but you don’t allow me to do that. You pull me around like that dog pulls its master. Then I thought about the dog and the man how that dog was always trying to please his master and always trying to follow his master turn by turn… That’s How I want to be… always obedient too the holy spirit letting the lord lead my steps… I just want to be a Vassal of the lord..
Jesus Use me,
